I am pretty sure anyone would agree to the fact that that is a complete load if ignorant nonsense.

I remember arguing with someone about religion(they couldn't handle the fact I might not beleive in god) saying "he does exist because I know it" and all this stuff, then a week later he decided to be a 'satanist'. Kids today

I guess I can't resist a debate, i'll be travelling up the topic instead of down:

Quote: "que evil starwars vader walking on music, the german nazi party decided to try and take over europe."

You see, Its called "balancing the population", you need a war like that everyonce in a while, and you need people as crazy as them Nazi's to do it. Though they mighta over balanced...

Quote: "O, did the world forget 911? our economy had to recover from that, also we had to recover our economy from the clinton administration."

Um, recovering from the Clinton Administration? Were you even alive during the Clinton Administration? I'll quote empty for the rest of this:

"Indeed, turning a surplus to a deficit."

Kids these days...

Quote: "I dont get it, people are always saying that, but do they think he has a little lever in his office that he can control the economy with?"

Yeah, and its called Dick Cheney

Quote: " I have a lot of pride in America, and i hate when others criticize it, and have to point out every little weakness it has. "

Boohoo, grow some balls and stand up for it then you weak little republican. Thats the problem with republicans these days, they have the balls to jump us into war, but not enough balls to justify it (Lesee if you catch my drift).

Quote: ""Um, what planet do you live on? America runs the world!""

We do, since when? We mostly run the entertainment venue of the world. Every country runs a part of the world, cause if one country ran the world, then there would be no more countrys. And at that point it wouldn't be Earth, it'd be America.

We run sh*t, we talk big, we spend too big (look at the dollar now TY bush administration). We run nothing right now.

Quote: " The UK isn't so great, but its far better than Americas. At least our politions aren't living up the arse of corporations."

Yeah I know, they only live up the ass of other countrys leaders.

[cough]Blair[/cough]

Quote: "We are not losing the war. Take a look at the death counts and tell me who's losing the war. "

Are we still there? Are you accounting for Civilian deaths in our death tolls? Are there still terrorists running rampant throughout Iraq, and everyday crossing the border from Iran? Are there car bombings, suicide bombings. etc... every day on the news? I don't call this winning.

Quote: "No. A very very large majority of the Iraqi's want us there!"

BS, Every single muslim Iraqi wants us out, and they want us out now. We are invading a holy land, and we are pissing off a sh*t load of muslim extremists in the process. According to they're beliefs we are ruining their holy land, the middle east, and now we are going to get paid back in full for it. The majority can't wait for us to "get the f*ck out."

Quote: "when the germans invaded the "neuteral" country of france, they welcomed the germans! welcomed!, for god sake what kind of country does that!?"

What history books do you read? Better question, Do you read them?

Anyway, I could dig through and read some more, and comment some more. I know my comments sounded liberal, but I am not a liberal. I am an independant that followed his president at first (like most americans did) when he said "We have proof of WMD's in Iraq", I said to myself "WE finally have proof, well good, lets take them out then." So I waited, and waited, and then about 1 year later I realized, we haven't found any WMD's. "Where are they" I asked myself. No where, they aren't there, they never where there. Who ever said "they are hidden in Iran and Seria" earlier in this thread is a moron. The only things close to a WMD is a few measly chemical weapons we have found (well the british found I think). And guess what, NOTHING THEY HAD WAS A THREAT TO THE UNITED STATES! Lemme say that again, NOTHING THEY HAD WAS A THREAT TO THE UNITED STATES. The only ones that woulda had to worry woulda been Kuwait and Iran. Speaking of Iran, guess who's next in Bushes "Tour of the Tyrants". Yes thats right kids, IRAN! We are going to march into Iran within the next 2 years, you knwo why? Cause they have supposed WMD's that threaten America too. And lets not forget North Korea.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely"

Wanting to cut aid to countries that wouldn't play lap dog to your countries' needs?

tbh they're not going to need that aid, they're not on the terrorists' list of countries to attack

If by that you mean him going to war then its wrong, Tony made Bush goto the UN to make a case for war, bush wasnt going to. after Tony found out that most of the secrity councel France mostly had accepted a bribe of Sadam Hussain for cheep oil then tony decided it was pointless making a case. Then it was voted by the house of commons if there wasnt a majority vote then we wouldnt of went to war so the blame isnt on tony but the whole of the house of commons and France

You say you love your country, and that's good. I'm originally from Holland, and proud of it. But then in another sentence you're saying that its the centre of the world, and the biggest and most powerful. Then why do you complain about it being criticised? Take Microsoft as an example, they ARE the biggest and most powerful, and who takes constant flack?

That is exactly what I'm talking about. The media has brainwashed people into thinking that liberals are bad - wtf? It's a lie! It's the Republicans that are messing up America.

And as for Bush and the economy. He started the first term with $1 Trillion spare cash, now there is a $1 Trillion debt!!!

BUSH = BAD

I always thought these political posts are amusing. I read this one and my opinion is confirmed. Since I did read the first post, I was already expecting the rest of this thread.

I won't even argue. Technically I know I'm able to defend both positions. I prefer reading how the ones tries to convince the others, knowing exactly that they won't succeed.

Dont be a baby, what do you mean stand up for it! The problem with you stupid democrats is that your all complete jerks, who have no pride in being American, and dont deserve to live in such a great country. BTW that comment i just quoted you on was about the most immature thing ive ever heard. Is anyone on my side here?

Once again, brainwashing made you call me a democrat. What in the word "independent" do you not understand. Lemme define it from http://encyclopedia.laborlawtalk.com/Independent .

In politics, an independent is a voter or a politician who is not affiliated with any political party. In countries with a two-party system, independents may hold a centrist viewpoint between the two parties, or may feel that neither of the two parties adequately represents their viewpoint.

Look at the latter part for my stance.

BTW, I bet you that a high majority of muslims do want us there, why dont you get out there and see for yourself. Your the one being brainwashed, thinking that no good is coming of the war, and all were doing is killing a bunch of innocent people, and noone wants us there.

Brainwashed... haha no you moron. I'm looking at facts presented to me. I watch CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC so I can get a nice view point from all. You see, the middle east is what is considered a "Holy Land" to the muslims, and as christians, we are Crusading the Holy Land. According to their beliefs, we should never step foot in that area as it is to them "sacred". You get that?

i'm not going to get into this disscussion because there is so much insults and false information flying (not saying who's false just saying it's there) just wanted to point one thing out though...

Quote: "Excuse me, but Bush lost the first election to Gore. This has been independantly varified, in every possible situation Bush lost.
"

Quote: "I am talking about stopping 10,000 black Americans voting. The great majority of whom would have voted democrat.
"

...

i'm just wondering, since the vast majority of the news stations in the USA have a extremely negative view of bush how come i've never heard of this?

and if it is true then i'm sure there are plenty of people out there who wouldn't be quiet about it(like you proly) and he would be impeached...

please don't post things like this that you have no idea if it is true or not...just because somebody told you something and it sounds great, don't jump at it without verifing it first...

Like that thing (i don't remember the details, i have a bad memory...but i'm sure most of you remember this) were the news stations were saying they had some journal of some dude that knew bush when he was in the (coastgaurd? airforce? i don't really remember...but something militaryish) and bush was pretty much dissed in it...but then later they found out it was false...and they just kinda say..oh, yeah BTW that was false (i remember that they didn't even apologize...just noted that they had been wrong )

anyway, just please guys stop being so immature and think before you hit the post button (that includes you "Eric T", you haven't been a very good example) also please don't throw out loads of "facts" that seem to support you're argument but are really un-verifiable...

anyway as i said i'm going to try and not get involved because i like ya'll and i don't think this is a good enviroment for debating.

Yeah, your watching all those biased news stations, well rounded on showing the bad side of the war. Thats probably a bunch of made up crap, by the people who dont like Bush, just to make themselves feel better about losing an election.
