how can i convert my program into something i can give to a friend or something? i want to be able to burn it, and give it to them, but i don't know how. any help would be appreciated.

go to file and then choose either build exe or build final. Build final will include all your media in one file.

will this work with dark basic classic? i have dark basic lite. i guess it's pretty much the same thing, but can i do that?

There's a comparison chart (http://darkbasic.thegamecreators.com/?f=lite); for the lite version it says:
"Save as stand-alone EXE files: No"

So you can't do that.

well, you could download the trial version of DBC and build an exe from there... It'll say "this game was made using DarkBASIC", but it'll work...
