i am writing a 2d point and click adventure game in db pro

for once the programming side is going ok & ive worked out a quick and easy way to convert poser files into 2d animation files that work within my game engine so i now have ok looking character sprites.

my problem now is the backgrounds for my game. its kinda going to based on a resi evil setting - mostly set inside. does anyone know of some free software that would be suitable for creating interiors for rooms that would render pretty well and save the file as .bmp ?

You could use GIMP for windows. Excellent software after you learn to use it.
