@fakebllod,
Very nice so far. Are you using windows gui plugin? If so which one?

Just a thought as I had began work on something similar a while back...
you may want to leave room for a right and left scrool in the tile box area to allow for larger tilesets to be loaded.

Also an otions to fill large areas.

The Fill Option will fill the entire screen.
The Fill Blank Option will fill all tiles not currently filled.

May Later add an option to fill specified areas.

I do plan to expand the Map area for scrolling levels. [EDIT]DONE!

I also do plan on adding Tileset support later by loading a 32x32 square from a larger image.

Is this 2D editor something you're making? If so, when would you be done and would it be available? It just seems to make 2D landscaping easier.

Yes it's something I'm working on, and it's available now in the link from my first post. It's still being developed but it is usable.
See the post in that link for more info about it, and yes the purpose is to make creating 2d worlds easier.

Well...here's the link to download it. Like I said it's not finished. Far from it but it works.
