My program makes up names. You can name your kid or character in your game with it. Click on mouse for next name. Sorry, I went a bit over 20 lines, oh well who can count, ohter than computers?

Lol, I warned you about that, it just puts letter in there at random, a consanant, then a vowel, sometimes the result is rather un mentionable.

Yeah, I might actually use this program to fulfill that purpose. Finding names is a task I always have a hard time completing.

WOW! i got my own name - James - what are the odds of that!

If the code is modded to make up a second name and possibly a third/middle name then this would be incredibly useful for rpg's.

Wicked! I clicked it a few times and one time my 4th or 5th one was "LIE". But it's 27 lines, man!

A guy made Steve Mountain made a more structured version of this that made two-word nicknames using real English but with randomization! The first array is full of adjectives, the second full of nouns.

I love this program. Props too you. I actually got the word "URINE" and "DIDEAT" ... lol.

If I may be so bold as to offer this in the form of a function(longer than 20 lines). If you don't mind I would like to use this in my own program if it is OK.

Dont know how many have or do play EverQuest here. But this code is very reminescent of the random name generator in it.

Notejam: Mind if I include this code in my rpg? Think i'll reserve the name "Rapetag" for an in game npc. Make it a halfing or dwarf or something.

Here's my edit. This makes it truly random and displays 30 names (I have a bigger screen). Change the first 30 in the code to set the number of names. Also, this code makes it start over again when it's done (excluding randomizing, which is not necessary except at the start of the run).
