This is my first attempt at ASCII art. I tried to pick up a few concepts. It's fitting for a text game. I know it can be done better, so if anyone can offer suggestions; Please do so,

The main Idea was to create a clock-tower, but I really don't like the way my clock came out. It just doesn't fit the rest of the image in both scale, and contrast. So I believe I will need to work on that part first. It should look like a clock at a further distance. Or perhaps I can just make a cooler looking tower???

Nice work - Perhaps you would be interested in freeware utilities that convert any image into ascii art. This saves you the time for converting it, but you can also learn what kind of characters to use for different shapes.

Thanks. The problem with such programs is that they don't usually do the Outline Retro style I'm looking for. They usually make those pictures filling the whole screen with characters, that when viewed from a distance give the contrast of a detailed image. At least the one's I've seen.

Nice. The top one's Garfield, right? Bottom one Police car.
