Hi my teacher ordered the free 10 copies of DB for school and it said it would take 3 days to process and its day 5 and nothing and I am trying to do a project using dark basic and I realllllllly need it ASAP. I expect it to be on time from the game creators.

Rick handles these and he's only holiday for 2 weeks. Use the trial version until he's back.

Hopefully that spelt it out to him.

Btw.

He is Richard Davey, tgc admin, also known as Rich

Rick Vanner is the commercial director of TGC, and it is he who arranges the free DarkBASIC for schools.

Try out the controller:-

You could try using a different basic compiler, like visual basic

Or you can always get a friend interested in Darkbasic by having him download a trial version on his/her computer. That's why i'm here. I programmed for 10 years in Quickbasic till I hit the limits... got discouraged and stopped programming till just recently (a maddening 7 years of non-programming). I tried C++ but it was so foreign to me. A friend told me about Darkbasic and here I am about to order Darkbasic Pro. Get all your friends interested in programming... there's nothing else like the thrill of programming.
