ermes the n00bs of the forums have to get past a post approval scheme. it sort of saves on rubbish threads/replies maybe you have fallen into that registration date catch.

ops! they shut me up!!!

What about the publishing deal, well, it was fine only for the remake of sunday drivers and sunday panzers, as "Crazy rally" for sunday drivers and "Tanko matto" for Sunday panzers (sound like crazy tank)

i'm still awaiting earnings, and i don't think to make something else until i see some euro.

sorry for broked english men, have mercy on me.

now i'm codind and editor for race track to use for a game about le mans races, still with the grfx of the sunday series.

i don't know how it would be, maybe it will be freeware as the sunday series, i've to see how zipgames want to handle my contract.

Ermes is a n00b, what a shame...

Someone noob slapped you it would seem (not guilty), probably for the other thread you started. Glad the publishing thing is going well, if you want more exposure we *will* write about it in the newsletter if you send us details ( unless of course you still think we're all racist )

ya always were
I'm gonna take a strange turn of events here and agree with you though.

The moderators (or rather a select few, they know exactly who they are!) have been taking measures a bit to far recently.

It is just the 'new' moderators as well. Although it is all well and good to haven a more strict forum if it's going to keep the peace, providing it with a friendly place for all. Simple fact is, all it's begining to do is create aggrovation between the users and the moderators (as a whole).

I do firmly stand behind the original comment I made when the new moderators were brought aboard, saying that I hope that the age of most of them wasn't going to be a problem. Yet it is the younger moderators who are cause many of the issues.

I don't know if it's just that they're now out of school with nothing to do, or that the summer makes them crazy.. can't say I particularly care for the reason. Just know that life around the forums is getting frustrating to a few users.

I mean if you look, someone moaned about Renegade posting every silly thought that poped into his head as a new post; while I admit that was annoying as hell. Indi then did the same with several news articles from a single Macintosh site.

They could've all been easily compressed into a single post called 'MacNews' or something.

Not very many people around here (in-fact most of the time I think it is just me and Indi really) who care about what happens in the Mac world. They're never going to get huge responses, so having them in seperate threads is a little wasteful.

I'm not actually defending Renegade behaviour, hell I wanna garott him with his damn BT cable; but my point is that you can't really play favouritism as this really ticks people off. It also shows that moderators aren't being fair, they're only going after people they don't like. So what sort of message do you think that puts across to new users?

It puts across the whole 'suck up to the moderators or you'll be in trouble' mentality. It then starts a whole class difference and blah blah.. well you get the idea.

Definately a far cry from how the forum started off. imo

Don't you remember? The last post you made here before leaving for several months? Claiming I never paid your games enough attention in the newsletters, etc and it must be because I was racist?

Trust me.. I didn't dream it (it'll be in the thread search somewhere I'm sure) -- not that it matters now to be honest.

That's pretty much the same thing in this situtation. When you "Discriminate" you're pretty much "Racist". (Unless you discriminate noob-ism, that's fine.) I'm sure you didn't mean it though, and was just angry at the time because you hoped to be famous with Sunday racers.

There seem to have been a few recently I wouldn't have done myself, so I would like to half voice my support of Raven there. Which is a bit ironic really considering I am a 'new' mod.

Then again, people tell me we're being too polite. Its hard to please everybody.

And Ermes, it's probably the italian translation that's making you sound like a rebellious teenager in some of your posts. I'm sure you're a nice guy inside

(I remember when you called me Raven's wife, I joked the humour must have been lost in translation and then you got all offended thinking I was making fun of your language skills aah memories)

Leys, you're not one to talk, as your sig says. Most people here don't seem to remember a couple of months back when spam was rife, and everyone was complaining about mods not being strict enough. Now there is a select few complaining, mostly (read: not all) by people who've had serious run-ins with them.

Actually while we're on the subject you posted junk threads and then asked us to ban you (quite literally, actually, i.e. mods ban me) inside of a source code block. The mods here don't have fun banning everyone who slips at the slightest thing--- you'd have to genuinely deserve a ban to get one.

It's just all too funny.

All these deep discussions come about because the very select minority who seem to have a mental age insufficient to browse the forum without being banned then come on and have a nice rant about it.

Everybody feels aggrieved and a nice long discussion ensues.

And its damned funny too

I've got to do something to keep myself busy while people aren't posting. ^_^

This said, while I might be one of the few complaining about it. You ever stopped to think that this is just because I'm a more vocal member on the whole.

People generally don't bring up an issue around here, though often they'll build up enough courage to agree with it.

This I do feel strongly is an issue. Besides, some of the new moderators over the past few months have asked my opinion on what their decisions should be. So would that not show that my opinion on the matter is one that seems valid. Atleast to those who have asked for the help, would it not?

What I actually find frustrating is most users don't have the courage to stand up for things they don't believe in. Although yes as Jimmy said "there are more important things in life", there is no getting around that this is a forum for a product that we all use.

(or some of us still do at any rate)

With this being the case, then the moderators should be focusing more on kerbing behaviour in the general forum, and using the additional (and might I add limited) time they have to actually making sure the rest of the forum is free of crap.

Personally I have some ideas and features for keeping as little work to moderators as possible. That I might propose to Rich with the new forums currently under-development. See how he feels about them, I definately feel some sort of Moderator Hierachy should be established at least.

While sure there are some annoying users around here, too much focus is going on single users and not enough on the forum as a whole. Also because of the actions of these selective users the forum as a whole again has begun to suffer.

I'll continue to complain about things around here, simply because I can't do anything to physically change anything. All I have is my 'voice', so I do plan to use it.
