I can load my 3ds mesh "i think" but when i position it ... it errors. Dose not exist

I had this problem once but i just changed it to a .x file using 3d explorer.

Why not change it to a .x file using something like 3d explorer.

I don't think your .3ds file is placed in your project folder. If it is not, and lets say the name of your project is CHEESE, then the 3ds file you want to load should be in the CHEESE folder.

Check for that first

AlamDV, NHL, NHL 2K3....... The best combination ever!

nope thats not the case.... can darkbasic even load 3ds format???

yep, dark basic can load .3ds formats, i always use .3ds for my models but in the case your using your model for animations (appending) then you must convert it to .x (using either 3d explorer as stated b4 or any other conversion program) or they won't work! believe that problem got me hooked for months!

I don't think that DB trial version can support 3ds files, at least mine didn't. But the full version supports them for sure, at least it does for mine.

If you want fresh underwear in the morning, take it off the night before.
