He had his server up earlier for me to test it, but I got disconnected soon after I logged on each time, gogeta I know I mentioned it, by posting it it may haunt you on the lil bug....ooga booga wooooooooooo!!!lol

WinRAR costs money... besides, what kind of programmer are you to accept THAT for an answer, I might upgrade it to work much better then it does now if I want to.

well I downloaded the WinRAR demo, and well its expired....well I'm still unraring, I just can't put files into WINRAR format

well i found few things thats becouse of them the load is too slow
* Player
* Add another animation to the player
* Map (little)
* Weapon Shop

i guess the buildings and the map got slow loading becouse of the high texture resulution + high quality..
ill try to fix it..

Well I can say this game rocks. GogetaX is a very skilled programmer to make this. I have just finished testing the chat with him which is almost spot on. obviously it has a few bugs but that is to be expected. Even its early stages it is a very go0d piece of work!

good thing its smaller, but never effected me as I run at 1280x1024

i have changed the staff now and made another 2 NPCs in game
Guard NPC and Mage NPC
made XP/MP/HP bars..
also made a mage house, its a half sphere house..

screenshots will b soon

erm about the mage effect, i think ill not make it, cuz i have tryed it and it looks sux in the game.. also its a real time texturing object..

half of them is images, but its not realy a problem making your own function of text over sprites..

Well I didn't give you feedback on the test earlier, so here it is

very good, no problems except, when I went on none of you where on there, I returned and saw every one was away, so I figured you guys went, I got a adware flood which always slows my computer down, so I thought bugger it, get food!

problems in the program are that I don't know how to talk to NPCs (or is that not availible yet) and well when you go into the mages house and your camera is high, its goes funky until the character is in a nice place, I find having to put the camera on the floor to exit the building.

I hope you don't mind, but ive put an image of my WIP so far (i wont make this a bad habit - just a one off ) -- only one image. i'd though id give you the exclusive privelage

Its optimised for mulltiplayer and chatting works...ive utilised the point and click approach to controls and dedicating arrowkey for camera movement...its only my third day of development and there aren't even any major bugs -- yet

yeh thats always expected

is it ood to send the data packets of your charcters position every sync rate...i did limit it to 3 packets every few frames or so but this slowed down the game MAJORLY

ohh...gogetaX did you do the mulitplayer code yourself or is it a modification or did you use mulitsync? I ask because ive coded it myself and wondered how to test it

can i ask - why have u used a billboard for NPC name above NPC? is this to cut cpu time by changing ink of text?

the text in the speech box /\ looks like each line is of test is cut off at the bottom every line...how come?

a) He's set the cursor too close on the Y coordinate to the previous line

b) He hasn't set ink background to transparent

ahh...wouldn't it be better to devise a function that wraps the text via and invisble boundry and just use one text string? It would be better optimised say, if he were to store dialog in an external text file or data.
