Yes, I won't ever have IonRay replace the Original IDE, namely because I need the Original IDE to edit/compile IonRay. Once IR's in a useable state, I'll be able to use it to edit itself, but I'd rather not compile because of the weird resulting problems (having to have 2 IonRay folders, possibly icon problems, being confused which open IonRay is which, etc.
