Hi everyone, first time back on the forums in a while (about a year ago I sold my dbpro cd but a month ago bought another one and have been hooked again ever since!

I'm using the latest versions of DBPro, the IDE and Blue GUI 2, and I have a couple of Blue related questions (I haven't used blue2 very much but knew blue 1 like the back of my hand!)

1. In a message/error etc dialogue box, how do you split a line of text with a paragraph (like the <p> command in html) ? I know this was possible in Blue GUI 1, as I used to do it, and I think it involved using a particular symbol in the text.

2. I have tool windows set up with the dbpro window as parent (0) - when the [x]/close is clicked they don't dissapear - why is this? Is there a new command to check if it is clicked?

Many thanks for answers to these questions, I would rather not bother Rob via email unless I have to B)

1. Add this to in the string: "+chr$(13)+chr$(10)+"
2. You can use the getEvent system to check for messages and thier source (there is one for WINDOW_CLOSE) then you can hide the gadget. To find these look in the folder 'BlueGUI help\gui2_help\events\index.html' since the events section is currently missing from the help index. Alos, look at the examples

You can actually just use chr$(10) in message boxes. Don't ask me why, it just works

Ah hi Nick

Um I don't know, I always intend to but I don't want to commit as I feel awful when I have to cancel at the last minute. Unfortunately my main job involves lots of travelling and I can be called to places with very little notice. That said it would be awesome to showcase Quikly Game Pro there like they did with FPSC B)
