Hello all!

Since the release of AGE (excellent program!) i have converted some of the code to the provided framework.

Please, i need testers!

WARNING!!!

For those who have been following the progress of this game on the WIP board - expect the game to be completely different (no too differetn tho)

I've only just figured out how the AGE framework functions and have been too busy to transfer all code ovewr but is cvoming on nicely so please - im just providing this demo for testing the online capabilites

Installation

The server will run from my own IP. You (as a tester) will have to download the client app (the game basically). You DON'T need to know my IP as it is pre-configured (though can be changed in the config.ini)

Registration

You dont need to notify me for registering an account. When you run the game you will have to make an accoun first (pres 2 followed by enter). Once you have entereed you name and password the accoun will automatically be created and let you play the game - progress of your position will automatically be saved when you close the app.

FEATURES

> NO collision
> NO Chatting yet
> NO character models

DON't expect a full game this is strictly to test online function

SERVER TIMES

The server will be up as from the time i posted this thread until a couple of hours

if the game says it cant connect then the server is down.

DOWNLOAD CLIENT APP:
5.81 mb
http://files.filefront.com/Client_APP___Lands_of_Andesa_v/;4057801;;/fileinfo.html

[i][b]When u load the client app above u will see a grey screen indicating the server is up. Press 1 to login with existing details OR 2 to create an account (do 2 first!)

Hey optical r, remember to keep your code modular, so there's no problems when I update the multiplayer framework.

Right, leaving the contents of "settings.txt" on the server to:

Should work for incomming connections aswell.
