For some reason, when I try to record and playback sounds, it is really slow eg the sound quality is very low. I am trying to write a mixer program, and I can't haev this happening! Any suggestions?
Whatever I did it wasn't me!

you are recording on non professional tools at a crappy bit rate. that's why

right now i am just trying to play an external .WAV file, and the sound is still really choppy. is there anything that i can do to increase the playback bitrate or soemthing?

Whatever I did it wasn't me!
