I just wated to give some advise to all the EA users who will be getting a free model pack.

Your earned these models. Do not give them away to anyone.

If you just give them to any tom, dick and harry. Before you know it, you could be showing off with your models and someone you don't even know will have them and had nothing to do with the EA..

Its difficult to protect the models for those who are distributing games or demos for others to download unnless you will distribute all content embedded as one .exe or you want to get into some kind of argument with those who may wish to use them in their own creations and I am sure there will be some who will.

I presume the models may eventually be available to all anyway as an add on model pack so they wont be kinda exclusive.

The only way to really have exclusive is too make absolutely all your media yourself and thats a big job for us small developers.

Probably the models come .dbo and If someone pickup only can use in Dark Basic Pro creation, In FPS Creator dont have the .FPE

yes, its confirmed that we get a $20 model pack for free. Other people can buy it for that amount. but i discourage anyone who wants to distribute them to other people for free, one its illegal and two why hurt the company we all love so much?

Well you get it if you download it or if you purchase the boxed version (though I think you have to download it (even if you get the boxed version); but I'm not sure).

Maybe we should just make games with this content and not release them until the V1 users can get that €20 model pack. So they can't 'steal' those models. I'm not giving them away! Not even thinking about it.

The first Model Pack will be released at the start of October and will be a download only. It is not included on the FPS Creator CD because those went to the duplication plant several weeks ago, and the Model Pack isn't quite yet finished

Yes it is. We payed to much for the EA version, and TGC compensates for that by giving us a model pack
And we get it earlier than the mortal non-EA owners.

Ya, and EA DID pay more, it is only $45 for fpsc V1 and $56 for FPSC EA. So it is made up to us with model pack. For getting V1 for free, well lets just not argue...
