Some of us aren't graphics artists. I can make basic models, but I can't texture. I also suck at modeling the human form. You see, a lot of us would make our own stuff if we had the skill or talent to, or in some people's cases, they just don't have the time to make a fully unique model, segment and skycube set. This is why those of us who can't model (for whatever reason) like addons made by others, because it gives us more stuff to work with, to hopefully break our game from those that don't have it. Sure, what we have may not be unique, but it gets the job done and gets the job done well.
And we don't use the same name for all our games.
