Hi all,

I just bought the DSDK and am now doing my first steps.
Gosh, what a great relief, compared to "native" DX programming

On topic:
I have my camera placed "somewhere", pointing to "someplace else". Now, I want to "strife" it left/right; e.g., move it along its own x-axis when pressing cursor left/right.

I understand I can't use a ready made DSDK function (at least, I didn't find any), but have to throw in some own calculations.

Any idea what would be the best way to do so?

Thanks a lot,
Miko

There are two functions available that aren't in the help: dbMoveCameraLeft() and dbMoveCameraRight().

It's definitely worth having a scan through the SDK header files for things like this - you never know what you might find that you can use
