I was trying to make a fountain of water pore out of an object, making a nice looking centre to a room, on rotating the emmitter after getting a nice water effect heres what happen'd

I have cut the code down to the minumus so you can try it for yourselves

http://www.deadly.clara.net/droptst.zip
includes the .exe

heres the code if you want to place your own particle .bmp

seems that both gravity and the floor are rotated when you rotate the emitter, Hmm, I can't think of a reason I would want that, It's not often you have a wall or celing at 0,0,0 for the particles to bounce off, and rarer you have gravity running that way (just rotate the camera if you want that effect...)

can we get gravity and the floor staying where you would expect them please

Rotate rotates absolutely everything. You need an "angle of emission" command (which is actually planned for V2 of the particle system).

Cheers,

Rich
