Hi. Will there be an fpsc model pack just for fps creator? If so then does anyone know when it's going to be released? Thanks.

yes, as (carefull kight not want to read...) time goes on, we wait for our promised good from our supiors, but as more time goes on, and nothing comes, we grow impatient in our wait. We wish for our goods now and dont want to have it be pushed back, because if it is, then our wait will start anew. This will lead to another frenzy of posts on how we were spose to get it,, well every one is closly monedert by "them" they are the almighty and deal out goods and punishment with no head, they have no masters in this world of gamming, so i sya friends, they still have time to keep up thier part of the deal, if not, what can we do about it???

but theyu only have about 3 days left.......... and then...
just kidding pay no attion to me

dont assune cause u make an ass out of u and me

@Cellbloc Studios, that's what a lot of us newcomers have been complaining about. The Sigh was very unneccassary. Obviously the guy is new (just like a lot of us) and doesn't know what the EA user have been promised. How could he? Do we really need to scroll back I don't know how many pages to get to know everything? Please be rational and a bit more understanding.

@Tom Thelwall, not being an EA user you have to pay for it, but no price anouncement has been made yet.

There are other model packs that already have been released: http://www.accode.com/fpsc.htm and http://www.uberdroid.com/gravematter
Another one will be released soon: http://www.cromwellgames.co.uk/fpscreator.php

There may be more packs in the making or may have been released already, but I'm new here so I don't know everything. If it's up to some of the old guys I'm not even allowed to know much anyway.....

If I do use FPSC to create a FPS? What's a FPS supposed to be anyway???

Well... my <sigh> includes the fact that EA purchasers were to see the 'bonus' pack by sometime Oct.

The clock is ticking. It was one of the 'Rewards' for funding the EA version to development.

Not to rush the situation, but the models could be used and simply going by the statement made by TGC.

Actually, your right Conjured - in the Geek Culture board, someone asked when the newsletter was going to be out. Ricfh said they were waiting 'till the FPSC model pack was ready, probably on Monday. He said they would release the newsletter on Monday regardless, but there is an infinitly high chance of it being released with the newsletter. Coincidence? I think not!

Once a month is a little bit optimistic! Although we'd be happy to include models from other 3D artists, so that may be an avenue to step-up the release rate.

Hi Richard,

I never really see the admins posting on the forum, Nice to meet you.

I think it would be a really great idea to include models and other things from other members, theres some very talented people on this forum, so with the official FPSC programmers and the FPSC enthusiasts...I can see FPSC being HUGE!

I'm sure it is, that was just meant as a small jab at those that were jonesin' over this pack all month.

It is something we'll consider carefully. The problem is knowing (or rather proving) that the person who sends us the model really did make it. There are so many games or web sites they could be "stolen" from it is quite a concern for us.

BTW I approved all Model Pack orders just now, so no-one should be waiting

Go to your Order History and you can see the Action in FPS Creator Upgrade. The instructions are in the Model Pack section.

Actually you need to be logged in with the email address you used when you got the EA to Version 1 Upgrade. If you have not got the V1 upgrade yet, you cannot download the Model Pack.

If it asks for a password when you try to register with that email address, then it's already registered, so get a password reminder sent.

Excellent pack, great addition to FPSC! I love the Cliff stuff, very real looking and impressive.

One slight dissappointment.... no sounds attached to any of the floors or doors. This content pack is very silent. By now I added sounds to the doors and gave all of the floors a materialindex sound, takes a while, but at least it's not so silent anymore.

The only thing missing in the pack is the civilians... who am I to rescue now? Also where's the fridge and stove (or cooker)? Those are very useful in the kitchen, besides the microwave and washing machine

Be inovative and creative.... don't create a fps with FPSC.

You have to use the email address (used when ordering) to download the file. If that was your Dads, wait for him to get home and force him to register on our site

Excellent Pack,

Congartualations to TGC are in order, firstly for the quality of the content itself and also for the continual keeping and meeting with their promises and release dates.

Cant fault it.

The pack can only be of benefit to all - as users vary and expand scope of games being made with FPSC as the media content itself available to them becomes more varied.

Finally I hope that TGC will continue to support the product and users in the future as they have done to date.

Thank you TGC.

Rich, as you maybe know or not, but the Humvee texture and Model was already included in FPSC (the only work to do is the FPE). Is that an error or it's a gift

If you guys (the developers) are serious, I may be able to throw in a model or two (probably without textures though) for free use. I am still learning a bit, however I can produce pretty good static models (no people).

I'll be offering them on our site as well, when it's up and running.

Why isn\'t this thread being bumped up on the forums when I post? It isn\'t even registering my posts at all when viewed from outside the thread. I\'ve been registered for a couple of weeks now, and posted a few times. Is this \'probie\' status going to end, or should I move on to the Torque forums?

It\'s getting a wee bit hard to be productive here.

Moderation status isn't associated with duration of your registration. That is no indication at all of a trouble-maker, only what you actually write is. Everyone, absolutely everyone, goes through the same process. If it's too annoying feel free to migrate to the Torque forums, because there's no way we're removing this policy after the trouble that caused us to enforce it in the first place.
