I looked at the tutorials and read forums, but could not find any references to a windowed mode.

Is it possible to run DarkBasic game in windowed mode (win2k/winxp)?

Will this cause the program to run any slower if it's in a window?

My programs run faster in windowed mode, butu besure to lock the window size because if its resized dbp distorts the window really bad.

It might run slower but that's more to do with your video card than anything. It won't be as smooth as full-screen exclusive mode either because your game no longer has control over the refresh of the screen (as a whole). Great for debugging though, I nearly always run in window mode when testing and full-screen for the final result.

Cheers,

Rich
