I've done a few tests. Don't tell i did them wrong... But if I hide or show an object doesn't help FPS. Why?

If you hide an object it is removed from the render procedure completely (totally missing out anything like the frustrum culling, etc) so it will run faster than showing the object.

As to how you'd notice the difference in a very simple scene is beyond me though. You'd need an extremely busy scene, turn off half the objects and then see the FPS difference.

Cheers,

Rich

Ok, I'll explain my problem better(I hope i'm doing something wrong.
This is for example a level.

No objects O Many objects

The O is your position. If you look like this:

No objects O-> Many objects
The framerate is arround 30.

If you look like this:
No objects <-O Many objects
framerate is arround 60.

If you look like this and hide objects:
No objects O-> Many objects(Hide)
The framerate is the same as when I don't hide the objects.

I hope you understand it

I now know why my FPS was so slow... It was because of the waves. Matrix 2 was the water, with waves. So everytime matrix 2 was updated, I removed it and now it's always 60 FPS. I limit it to 45, because 60 FPS is much too fast for pacman.
