Help! I have an interesting 3D project I want to develop but I need to be able to capture the windows desktop into a bitmap. Has anybody got an idea how to do it? Maybe it could be done with a Windows DLL and the Win API interface?

just copy the backbuffer into an image memblock and then export that data into bitmap format... there are alot of instance of the format online - just look around

(there are even a few that i've posted in this forum)
