The reference manual to dbpro doesn't talk to much about the usage with bones.

So here's a few questions,

If I want my character to hold an item (sword, shield, club etch). Do I have to make the hands as individual models (as limbs). Or is it posible to "glue" objects to bones?

And when I'm animating, is it posible to do merge animations in the coding. let's say I whant my character to run and wave his hands. Do I have to make 3 animations (running, waving hands & running and waving hands), or only 2 (running & waving hands)?

Hey Kjetil, hyggelig å se noen norske tryner her

Yes, unfurtunately you need to make 3 animations.
I dont know if the DB team are planning to integrate
motion blending technology into DBpro.

checkout MD3 format, and play with the Basic3D & Memblock commands

if it is possible or howto accomplish this will be left in your hands

One block follows the suit ... the whole suit of blocks is the path ... what have you found?

Bassi: jo, takk det samme. Trodde db var uoppdaget i Norge enda jeg.

But how about gluing objects to bones. Or is it best to make different objects for each limb (if you want to attach cloth and equipment)?

I'll check out the md3 format.
