my gmae is really lagging out, but on my screen I only have a few polygons, I herd somewere that the program counts polygons even if they're off the screen. how do I hide the object when off the screen and revil them when on?

use the camera range command... it only render's from infront of the camera within a certain radius

FOV sets the sides.
Range sets the distance near and far from the camera.

FOV is the "Field of View"...basically like look straight ahead and put your arms out to the side, you should be able to see part of your arms...but not too much behind that...thats what the Field of View is...how much you can see to each side...so you want to do this by putting in:

100 is the angle...but you can set that to anything you want...try it out.

If it's still lagging with only a few objects they are either very high poly objects or something else in your code is causing it (highly likely), perhaps an un-needed loop, a command out of place, etc. We can't tell without seeing the code.

Rich
