I wish I had time to do this... I don't think I'd win, but it'd be fun to try.

Edit:...I mean that I don't have the time to work on it before the deadline. (see post bellow))

I'll try to make time.

The punch goerge bush style game with harry potter in it? Would love it, I heard that game has more characters now, like Bin Laden....

@Bizar Guy, If no one minds I could extend the deadline for you and BigAdd, shame to let people lose out, even when the compo has about the most entries we've had so far. So whatcha say?

Decided i hated the swirly things, so i made an engine to go there instead.

TExtures are crap procedurals and some ramp shaders.

Regards
zac

edit - done some more to it, but couldnt be stuffed uploading a new pc cause i didnt like how it had turned out. May haveto try some other stuff with the rendering.

Do the models need to be game-useable?

Hey nice model!

How long did it take you? I guess this isnt a C&C thread so i'll leave that to you

I reaaaally like how youve posted multiple views in a clean white space. It does a world of good for the viewer cause we can see all thats happening.
Good work!

He he, the model I'm making is based on a drawing I did last year...

I'll just keep to myself until it's finished, and then I'll show the drawing as well as the model.

I must admit though, I've come up with quite an awesome name for it- the BMW.

Ahh so the winner pciks the new comp eh? I'd better win one soon! cause i have some nifty ideas for compo's.

On a side note, do many people do pre-model visualization? like concept modelling? Ive tried it a bit, and its actually getting my modelling somehwere.

Just a random thought.

like...using fairly primative models to construct the scene and camera angles perfectly, then modelling the scene. Its pretty interesting. It does add another step, but it makes it more refined in the end. Just a thought.

He means like my Forgiveness scene, the human models were place holders for the black guy wip and his girlfriend, that was a concept design, and I am working on the final thing.
