Original DB users (ones promised all future updates) can download the DBPro upgrade free? I was under the impression that DBPro was considered a seperate program altogether, and it was at least the charge of the upgrade... Have I been waiting for nothing?

No prob I was just confused a bit...

DBPro is a different program, but it seems worth the cash. Not sure if there are any updates to the original DB, because it has been so long since I messed with it, but there most likely are... Should be on the site 8)

I have the "original" CD too (the one with the Wigan Council CD sleeve) - it's where I started like you atx840. But now I work for DBS I can tell you (and have done so in my email to you last night) that the original promise was that patches for DB were free - and they have been, consistently.

DBPro is a new product and there is a discounted upgrade price (although you've missed the special offer discount by 3 months) but there is NO free upgrade from DB to DBPro no matter which version of DB you have. Sorry! (Just needed to make this clear to everyone else).

Cheers,

Rich

hmmm doesn't sound at all what it was 4 years ago, now with a different compiler and a "PRO" on the box we first investors are no more thanked than anybody who buys it today....and thank you for telling me i missed a promotion and have to spend more money.
