Can an object (.x or .3ds) be a matrix?
(Sorry for the grammar, don't know how to fix it)

u can drape a matrix over some x files and mould the matrix to the same shape as the primitives underneath

u can use an x file like a matrice using a polygon vs polygon collision system.

You just get the height and stuff of the objects beneath and use that to raise and lower points on the matrix.

RPG is right u traverse one space along the matrix at a time and use the get ground height to find the height of the matrix compared to the 3d primitives or models placed underneath it.

tdboy perfected that trick.

Mach, do you speak french ?
go to www.darkfusion.fr.st
look in the news
there's a link to a dll that allow you to make maps with *.x or *.3ds ( I don't remimber ) objects
I don't remimber with which version of db it work, but it's for db, not for dbc

I'm following John, but I'm not john.
Lol, it is funnier in french

So what you all meant is that I'll use collision detections, right?

You get the height of the objects, then raise and lower points on the matrix accordingly.
