@ The Admiral

Ulidia will be a single player RPG set in and around Ireland circa 800 AD
I have many ideas I want to try out including scripting the npcs to carry out their daily tasks and chores so while they could be working the fields by day chances are they will be in the tavern by night. To try and give a more realistic sense and immerse the player a bit more in the game.
It will be history based as opposed to fantasy based so I will try to keep to the look and feel of the time as best as I can.

Well in the mean time back to work ill post some more updates soon.

that sounds really interesting, I would like to see how you handle that day/night npc script. i recall on teh 64 versions of zelda they did that, only when it was night time the map would just reset. Will you have it so the npcs travel around to get to places, or will it auto change?

the reflection on the water looks great, I'd like to see it moving The house and trees should cast shadows, but the modelling looks excellent

yeah, shawdows would be nice, but it looks pretty spiffy... and kind of has a green irish feel to it (or maybe i'm just imagining that...)

Hello again all
Thanks for feedback on the early screens and sorry for not updating in so long.
Updates

Calendar/clock (finished)
Day night cycle (finished)
Implemented Van B's cloud code (hope this is ok Van)
Rain (70% happy with)
AI (some coding with waypoints but holding off for Dark AI)
Currently working on the modelling of Emain Macha the main town. The modelling is taking up a lot of my time so hopefully things will speed up when the bulk of that is done. I will update soon.
