Sadly, I am having serious runtime meshback errors with FPSC and the project might have to be restarted. I cant even open FPSC so for now the project is at a stand still. Even more frustrating is the fact that I might have to delete my homemade entities. If anyone has any advice I would like to hear it.

Hey this is the best FPS Creator game I've seen so far in my opinion based on the screenshots. Are you using Magic FPS and did you get the guns texture to show up OK? If so I'd like to use your screenies when I finally update my site.

@Sinistar
I am using a number of programs and Magic FPS is one of them. Actually, it is probably one of the best. Feel free to use my screen shots for your site.

@Gamz
Yeah it really is a pity that I might have to start over and delete my work. Hopefully I can get everything up and ruuning again. Thanks for your comments.

Everyone who asked to be e-mailed: I will try to remember to email you when demo comes out, if I dont get around to it just check my page for updates.

Just to give everyone an update I was forced to restart my project because of unsolveable errors. I have been working long and hard to reproduce the original material. When I build a map the blueprint stays in my head, so thats a conveince. In fact, it is looking better than the orginal material because I keep making improvements along the way. I will give you a brief list of what is featured in my game. New crosshairs for all guns, new sounds for all guns, new enemies, new sounds for all enemies, hundreds of new entities, hundreds of new segments, new weapons, and other stuff. This is very much a work-in-progress, but all the things I have just listed are completed or on the verge of completion. I except if all goes well, to release a two level demo in a month or two. I will try to post some new screenshots soon.

Im not saying that NIK is the only talent here, but he certainly does have talent. I havent seen Lon's work, but i have seen many pages of repetative rubbish on this forum that looks quite bad. Im just being thankful that we have people like NIK .

NIK, the texturing looks ace. Good luck.

Lol, I fear that no one can ever make a better looking game with the FPSC. Those screenshots look even better than the previous game you made, which is quite an achievement.

Oh yeah, and have you planned a story for this game yet?

hey Nik. i cant believe this! dude, these are so totally sick!
tell me how you did the lighting on the third pic on this page. with the bars and stuff.
also, if you are using a special light RGB please email it to me at:

[href]admin@mathskills.org.[/href].

(also, if you wanna email me some of your entity placing secrets i could use them. i wanna make something like this. Also if you could give me a run-
down on how you create your segments. anything that would help me create a better game.)

thanks,
~Snowfall

uh, dude, i just asked how he puts his levels together. cause i suck at entity placement, as well as creating segments.
i just wanted some pointers. i asked for a few small things not millions of dollars, so im not asking for everything.

This is looking crazy good, Nik! What's the FPS rate? I noticed some open areas, which I avoid b/c of lag.

Looking forward to a great demo!

Looking pretty flash NIK, nice work.

My only suggestion is to have a look at the brick texture
in the first screen in your last post, the bricks don't quite
match up.

I hope this isn't a silly question, but is revolution the name
of your game?

Keep it up,

danielp

Danielp, Thanks for your comments. By the way thanks for the suggestion about the bricks. Acually the screenshot is about a week old and the proper changes have already been made. The name of my game has not yet been decided, I simply found that Revolution Logo on the web and thought it looked cool. Thanks for your support.

NIK you are inspiration to all. I know exactly what you mean about perfection, although my texturing skills are pretty poor and my modelling skills are non-existant.
AWESOME WORK!

NIK, if you like, and if you know what unit set up fpsc uses, I can make you a wall with holes in? It would look better than having a alpha texture.
