As some of you may have seen before, I have recieved emails from a certain someone calling me a noob. Here is the message (vulgar language is edited)

Hey ol buddy, i see u haven't updated your site in quite a while, did your "Team" go on strike or something? Oh yeah back to the "rough draft" thing again, why in the h*** do you want people to that general idea about your modles??, 1 of the has a baseball bat for a head!! Yes i has played ffx and along with every other ff in the series ver the course of the years. so u think im a noob huh? if heard or read through the grape vine that your a whopping 14 years old, yeah its funny that some one who [Fragment Removed ], so wrote an 18 year old and called him a noob. I've moddled better things in about 15 min. but story can make up for a lot in the graphics department, in that if it has a good story i don't mind playing with horrible graphics, however your story sucks as bad as your modling. Look all im sayin is have some kick a** s*** b4 you go around tellin others how to do stuff, spare the real noobs the fate of turning out as cocky (and bad at modeling) as you are.

As for me not helping people, I think most the people I help appreciate it, as most people reply with "Thanks RPGamer! That worked!" or something along those lines. Do you guys really think I'm a noob and I shouldnt be helping people, because if you do, I could just leave. I really dont want to, but if you guys dont want me here, then I can go for the better of the DB community. I just hope thats not the case.....

Just laugh it off and ignore him/her/it, i'm pretty sure they'll get bored after a while. It's only over the internet, they're not going to come out of the screen and punch you or pull your hair (ohh)

You've helped me a couple of times and i appreciate it, you come across these people all throughout life, just ignore them, if they're not getting a reaction out of you, they'll just get bored.

I wouldn't worry about it, if you help people great, good for you! we should all help out one another as we are all here for the same goal and that's to create games

alot of people get on my nerves as I'm not particulary a people person LOL (coder syndrome, hehe) but to those who insult my work, look out, head crushing time no, no seriously, just ignore it, don't bother replying as this is what he/she wants - attention = spoilt brat who can't get their own way

take the guys Email address, goto a hacker forum, find someone who wants to just do some true damage ... if you hand him the email address and they say they can't do anything find another person.

someone will be skilled enough to use that, to grab thier IP and probably put on decent Trojan - then well just have some fun
as for being a newbie - well depends on the point of veiw really ... i mean there is a HUGE difference between being new to something and being an unskilled at it (^_^)

i mean i'd hardly call you either ... but still from certian peeps pov's - then again who cares what someone emails you in this fashion? i mean if they do it then don't scoll down to see if they have a point, just delete it without reprise - no need to worry about crap like that.

it's not illegal so don't worry perfectly legit, LOL, well... I mean you can't get into trouble.

RPGamer, I myself am a noob. You are, by far, not a noob. I'd say flame the crap out of him and use some nifty vulgar language back at him, but then you must feel pitty for him. I mean, this occupation of his sounds pretty difficult, a "collage".

Never mind, screw the pitty; just flame him good. A tip on flaming: use google, ixquick, mamma, ask jeeves, etc. and search for "newsletter". Subcribe both of his addresses to as many as you can find. Secondly, do the porn deal(assuming your parents won't catch you). Just don't subscribe him to anything that costs money, you'll get yourself in serious bull plop.

Well I haven't been here long enough to make an opinion on you but had I been here for years I still probably wouldn't, it's all too easy to get the wrong impression of someone from just reading text, I consider it just a way of exchanging info without all the emotional bull.
However, I think that your 'stalker' may be sitting at his computer and furiously whacking off to these posts, you see they give him the attention he's lacking in his social life (And now I'm guilty of adding to his pathetic pleasure, eeeew sick
If you can, set your email inbox to exclusively receive mail from trusted addresses, and have the rest go to another folder you can just delete regularly or rescue any 'friendly' mails from.

If you yourself are comfortable with your abilities no-one should be able to make you feel bad about yourself, just have the self respect to ignore him completely and you'll take the wind out of his sails if you know what I mean

Xoid- sadly because of abuse from spammers "not like the old days of freedom" most smtp admins such as myself turn off relaying and enforce access rules to stop this type of thing. Not to say you can't find any "quite the opposite".
There are blacklist sites that anyone can submit an IP address to it , it then checks out the site and if it found out to be an open relay that smtp server goes on the list and the other admins will block you.

Just a little fact of life- I thought might share.

Xoid,I know you were aware of it, obviously. I am all for fun and the amusment of really stupid, deserving people. I wasn't trying to lecture but I see it might of came off like that. All I wanted to say was it's going to get harder to find an open relay in the future. As a side note, Iam not quite sure his ISP would allow that (smtp on his computer). I don't know that much about ISP's.
But anyway if he did do that, I think I would say something like I got your acccount now and I know where you live, whhoo ha he "mad laugh" . That is if your willing to sink to a lower level. But sometimes it's fun to play in the mud.

It's not the size of your code but how efficiently you use it!
