back to the porpuse, i had in mind to create a thread/database of artist and theyre work, but i guess it must be something more coordinated,

i love to just watch 3d stuff in overall, poly seducted guy , so i wanted you guys to show your stuff in this thread, many of you did so, and in a serious manner, so i want to thank all the 3d modeleres who contributed seriously and without stupid jokes to this thread, thanks (Y)

you didn't seriously expect everyone to take it seriously did you?

and tbh, megaton's model's pretty good, i just think the texture size was overkill

Modelled this last night as part of my small movie 'Joos'. This is actually turning out fairly nicely. The model is 30% rigged, mouth and eyebrows are fully done. I can give some other poses if you want.

A quick model i made for the Shaman King game I've been working so far. It won't be definite, i'll improve it later on as so will the inn and most stuff already done. Done other things such as spaceships, and other characters, but i fine this one the best, both for how it looks, and the time it took me to do it...

I want to learn how to do teh modelz

I'm seriously impressed by most of the stuff in here, I was beginning to think that the forums were filled with people who don't do anything at all Good to know that I was wrong.

Great work guys, especially you, Ruccus.

@fik: thats impressive, such detail. I'd love to see that textured.

This one is probably my favorite, more do to the texturing than the actual modelling.

Here I modelled my hairdryer about 2 years ago.

Thats because this is the best part of the forum

@Phaelex, that looks nice, I'm assuming your app can do better shadows than hard, try making them soft, or 'area' lights, in a personal view, I think a scene always looks better that way.

Well you guys wanted finished work, well, here is my finished froggy scene, frogs need work, but I have little time and the contest it was for is over in a couple of days. I can do better, but for now, it'll be fine

Here's a more game related model from me. I wanted the subway map from Deus Ex in a game to use for testing a collision system I was writing. Here's the screenshot of the map inside DBP. Textures are from the game, modelling was done by referencing screenshots from Deus Ex.

Here's a scene for ya, okay I know I'm not supposed to be modelling so close to my exams, heck even posting on here other than my contest, but its a bank holiday weekend

Completely made in Cinema 4D CE 6 (Other than one of the rock texture's layers) mostly made of shaders instead of normal textures

I dunno what my best is though, might need to try my hands at another car, I'm thinking along the lines of F360

I'm new to the Dark Basic scene, but I've been doing Visual Pinball tables for years. I model and render the visuals for my recreations, in Truespace.

Heres a small version (I usually render the master image at 2048x1536), of Eight Ball.

40,000 verts and 170,000 faces.
