Here's a robot character from VanSIMPLE's JetPac retro entry.... you will meet this dude in the last level ( if you make it that far ) !! ;D

Just though I'd post it here to see who comments on it !! or maybe he's had enough of war and decides on a Seize fire ( bit like the Iraq's should be doing right now !! )

Not bad, not bad at all. He don't look like the type to surender quickly. What did you use?

Am I a butterfly dreaming I'm a man?
Or a bowling ball dreaming I'm a plate of samishi?
Never assume that what you see or feel is real.

Milkshape for the model - Unwrap3D for the UVmapping - Photoshop 7 for the texturing - Brazil renderer.

NO... he won't surender quickly !! he's gonna be one tough mother !!

And his face does look a little flat in that angle.... here's a close up of his head.

still think you oughta add some smothing groups to the head, and make a fake reflection on the body (texture maps), to get that metalic look. Good model though. It looks like you have rigged it, is the animations comming soon?

I just posted up the whole model in flat shaded mode. The skull + some other parts of the bodywork are smoothed in game.

As for it being high poly...... well, there is more concentration in the head area, but not so much for the rest of the body.

It's perfect for a DBpro game.

And yes... it's all rigged up ready for animations. I'll be adding them tomorrow ( And lots of them !! )

Currently modifying the skulls texture too.

Hmm very nice texturing

I'd prefer the finger joints to be more uniform and the green front button to stand straight in its angled frame, but very, very nice! Can't w8 to see it animated

[edit] Yay! GO MILKSHAPE! WOOO! lol sorry

Coming Soon! Kangaroo2 Studio... wait and quiver with anticipation! lol
