cant say I crammed my Sun Sparcs into that shot.. Sun is some literally very heavy hardware, let alone 3 stacked machines and disk arrays.

As for the cat? I'll get a shot of him soon as he's near.

The image too large to post on this message, so I attached it.

Here is a pic of my awesome setup. So simple and yet so trusty.

Notice the sweet gadgets placed suspiciously in frame--- April 1-Zone bus pass, work pass, watch, cell phone, stamps, Nintendo DS, and Quikly (*COUGH COUGH*) 3D Game Studio Pro. Yah I know, you're all jealous of me.

Ooer--- didn't realize how large the images are. Well there ya go!

this is my office so far, I have to move the classic computers over later. these are the day to day ones in my business. the others are too retro to be effective for any production.
I collaged it quickly because i should be working

I am seriously surprised by the number of photos where you can actually see the carpet on the floor. I thought every coder had loose scratch papers all over the floor. 0_o I don't think you can see 1 square foot of my carpet (also all the papers probably keep the carpet clean like new). And I clean it about once a month whether it needs it or not lol.

I am amazed at the amount of people who run their PC`s with the side covers off, even my "ultra quite" PC annoys the tits off me with all that constant fan and HD noise (3fans and 3hD`s), and its worse if you have the covers off, then again I live out in the wilds, even worms seem to make a lot of noise out here , theres a lot of background "drone" when you get into towns, not so much a actual audible noise as a pressure, V noticable when you only go into town once a week, I turn the car radio up in town and when I go home I turn it down again, must be white noise from all those people/cars/machines etc drowns out a lot of noise.

And yet the most impressive thing there is the Jumbo Shreddies in the background. Also interesting to see the dishwashing detergent on top of the sink, where as most people keep it underneath.

Either way, evidently you all have way too much money, so feel free to send some to me. It would definitely be a worthwile charity.

Shreddies rules--- what you didn't see was the jumbo Golden Grahams that I mix with the Shreddies. And that is just regular dish soap you see there. We have a dishwasher but since it's just the two of us we manually wash our dishes.

I bought that before I had my 360, so I could learn more about it.

On my other post, it only showed one of my Macs, I'll get my Desktop and laptop in another shot. Its just my other desk is covered in crap, like most peoples, and my desktop isn't running... I reinstalled my Windows XP Home, and not my network driver won't work at all it installs, but does nothing after that.. But enough of that....

I'll get the pic later.

Glad to see somebody else sees the logic. Another good mix is Harvest Crunch and Rice Krispies or Cheerios I figure that it's better to mix sweet and plain cereals than dump a pile of sugar into a plain cereal. And yes I think about this a lot

Not just on his desk, either!

Seriously though, every single breakfast cereal mentioned in this thread does not exist here. With the exception of Cheerios, which they're just starting to sell here, we haven't even heard of any of them.

the cables on my floor get regularly hauled out and reconnected and although it looks tangled they are discrete bundles on top of each other, or at least they stay that way for about a day.

the blue/purple pc in the bottom pic is for pic programming (that's what's sitting on top of it), it is connected to the tv and the rightmost of my 3 monitors via a long vga cable (the monnitor has dvi and vga so i use dvi to my main pc, there's a usb keyboard on the floor in that mess of cables connected to the blue pc too (i would use a kvm switch except the ps2 ports are fried and usb to ps2 adapters are a bit dodgy.

the dell isn't connected to anything and doesn't currently even have a hdd, but i have ide to cf adapters that i plan to use with it which make cf disk appaer like a hdd for booting and things, might play with kernel development once school's out.

This pic is kinda old and from my last apartment. The 15" monitor cut off at the left-side I replaced with an old IBM 19". viewsonic 19" as my main monitor, and the 17" to the left. The tiny-looking computer is actually your average size mid-tower. That black server is almost 12" wide and I love it, so easy to work on the inside.

Whoa, cool. I have the nw8000...
Here's some info on it...http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF05a/321957-64295-89315-321838-f1-364189.html?jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

it says it starts at $3099, but I was lucky enough to get one that had a small issue with battery charging free, as the guy who had it and gave it to me got a replacement from hp, and hp hates taking back defective products, so while they say they'll send you a box to ship it back in (weird, huh?), they rarely do. Heh, and the problem with it I was able to fix pretty easily.
