Thanks Cash. That's good to hear. It's still not finished, but it's getting close.

Try using the image I made (if you want). Works great with image mode 2. :

EDIT: wait! How do you know? I havn't even posted the code yet!

That snow looks great Uncle Sam! Would it be possible to use different images for the snowflakes so that not every one is the same?

Thanks. I thought of that, and I'm think that I might make it so that you load in 3 images maybe, or more if you wish. Other than thatm I think the function is done now. I will be posting it up soon.

HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I'm inside your COMPUTER!!!!

I guess I should have said, the video that I watched, it looked like a good compromise between number of particles and overall effect, which wouldn't be all that processor intensive. I think the tendency is to use 100000000 particles to try and make it look nice.

But I haven't put up a video of the snow function yet!

Wow, I can't find any evidence of what I said being true. Did I have some vivid nerd dream? Wow, I need to visit more porn sites...

I'm sure my dream was right though...

I have good news guys. I think I am about finished with these functions. I will make a change to the snow function so that it supports rain also, and then fix the bug with the spark function.

Sorry Cash, but I think that the debris function is too much on the physics side. I plan that I soon may start a physics pack, but I am not sure. If so, it would probably include your requested function.

I will be posting up all of the functions, videos, function descriptions and use advice. I will also write up a quick little program for visually editing the parameters of the functions so that they can be exported to a text file, and then copied into your code.

I am at my college right now (and I wrote a much longer post than this one, but then the connection failed an I lost it ), so I will try to resist playing BF when I get home and try to finish this for you today.

Thanks to everyone who supported me in this project (and to Cash for commenting on his dreams ). I will be moving on to actually making a game now! My multipalyer FPS had online issues, so, being my first multiplayer game, I wil fix the collision bugs, and then post it up in program announcments for local play only, possibly before I start my next game. This will be my first real game to be finished.

Good luck using these functions. I hope they visually impress your players and enhance the gameplay.

Ok, I posted everything up in Program Announcements! Thanks again to everyone who supported me. Don't post here anymore please. Instead, go to:

Thanks again...especially to Agent Dink for his amazing images! I've added in your username and website to the credits of my trailer in Program Announcements.

Cheers.
