DLL Talk / Audio Frequency Reader?

Does anyone know of a way of reading the intensity of various audio frequncies from within DBP?
I would like to be able to produce a graphical display that reacts to music.
There is obviously no direct way of doing it with DBP commands which is why I am asking in the DLL thread.
