How will I advertise my game? If anyone will gonna ask "You made a game already?" well I haven't, just making sure and being ready for my future game.

Well, the cheapest way (free), is to find other people who make games and ask if you want to trade links - you'll put their link on your site if they'll put your link on their site. Search engines like Google and Lycos are always willing to add to their database, as are software sites like ZDNet and Tucows.

If you've got cash to spend, you can always pay for banners on select sites. However, this isn't really a viable option for the hobbyist programmer.

The last option is to contact me again in a few months time - the game I'm making at the moment will have most of it's levels set in futuristic cities. In true Syndicate-style, there will be billboards and flashing displays dotted around. If you want to save me the job of making one more advert to put on them, send me yours!

Let your game speak for it's self, if it's good . word of mouth will get around and push for DB to promo it. Think ! they get more money if good games come out of it. Self promotion. ie.. retro comp. That was an example.

It's not the size of your code but how efficiently you use it!

send emails to every game publisher you can think of such as Adventure Soft, maybe they will take an interest.

a company called http://www.idigicon.com/ may be able to help, but I think they mostly publish BlitzBasic games, but, you could try, if it's good and theres money to be paid, I'm sure they'll be able to help, ya never know,
