In short, an easy-to-use basic-style programming language that allows you to make commercial-quality games in a short time!

everyday of life is a new chapter that has already been fortold but is up to the soul to capture.

Hrmmmm... DarkBASIC? Where?

DarkBASIC is cool..

You can do mostly anything you want, except you need to learn the language first. If you are not going to take your time to learn the language, there is no use in even trying. Download the Demo and see for yourself. Beleive me, it gets A LOT easier! The hard part is Modeling....

O.K, it's a scripting language which wraps up the rather complicated directx library of hardware-independant graphics/3d/sound/etc functions (which you'd normally have to learn c,c++ or pascal to use) into a fun and easy to use language, like a combination of basic and logo. Beginners can acheive results pretty instantly by sticking to the logo-like commands, such as "turn object left 1,90", and move on to using variables and arrays, finally writing their own functions etc, as they learn. It's quite, quite cool.
