When i export my own animating 3d models from a number of programs e.g lifeforms and cinema 4d 5.se. they refuse to animate in darkbasic. Does anyone know of a 3d program that darkbasic likes to get along with? cheers.

.3ds does not animate, but .x files do. I use milkshape 3D though i think 3D canvas works too. Hope this helps

i'm using milkshape, but for some reason it won't let me export the file as .x... is there something i need to do?

i've been able to save it before though, so and Macdooth, i highly recommend you use milkshape... really nice modeler overall. easy to use, too, and very stable.

we're all mad here.
