I trust and hope that my presence as such here will not be needed to be called upon too often - rarther that the forum will continue to evolve in a mature manner.

no... in the depths of the underforums.. there are posts that only few have seen and survived.. i was one of them that went down to the underforums, i was a fool. we went down there 9 people, and only 3 returned. one of us was uman. he posted his last wish, in the underforums. with three words he said "Tellus free me", when we came back from there, we werent the same. we fear the light and we seek the darkness.

Congrats guys! I was happy to see that the most mature and insightful (I'm looking at you, Uman ) people made it to Mod status. You've got a huge job ahead of you guys, so good luck with it. Hopefully with your help we'll get the order and justice these boards deserve.

One way or another that will be the case as irrespective of the position with respect to the new Mods in particular it should be apparent to members that TGC are now committed to that end and they will undoubtedly see it through until such prevails.

If the new Mods cant do it then TGC will just make sure its done some other way so we might as well make it the easy way rather than the hard way.

Ok new mods - you're in. If you've questions about the controls, grab me on MSN and ask away. Or just ask in the Mods Lounge, you are allowed to discuss forum issues in there (i.e. "should I ban X", etc).

I (and I'm sure Uman and Returned as well) will be going over the forum rules in detail. Excessive references to human anatomy, getting around the swear filters, threats, spamming other's threads (repeatedly, not the occassional question), starting pointless threads (i.e., "this program is pathetic and I don't care what anybody says"), and making posts that start and end with a single period; will be dealt with as soon as possible.

I'm not going to strictly adhere to rules verbatim, meaning I won't be a "forum lord"; but if you think it's wrong or unhelpful, just don't bother posting it. If you think your post may get erased, then use your better judgment. We are now making an effort to bring back those that were productive here, but left because of all the garbage spewing forth here (by a few individuals...NOT everyone).

Let's all make this a better place to come and make some great games.

Furthermore, furum members should make sure their posts are made and kept in the correct, appropriate forums and on topic at all times. Dont go posting anything which is not appropriate or alien to the topic in qestion.

These are forums that are here for discussion of FPSC and game making so keep the post content limited to that.

Stick to the forum use guidlines and general rules in each case and we will all be happy chappies.
