I have been making a program called user lock down and it disables loads of things. You can watch a little animation if you watch the image below :

EDIT: i have linked to it now instead http://static.filefront.com/images/personal/a/AlexIllsley/35557/cjuchuhmwi.jpg

Anyways: along the way i came acorss a lot of usfull functions for disabling things, So i made a little app so you can enable & disable stuff . Its attached.

Thanks,
Alex

You probably dont' want to give out your trade secrets, but for ages i've trying to do something like this, and for the life of me, I can't figure out how you lock ctrl-alt-del or alt-tab, much less hiding the desktop, start menu, and taskbar, so - HOW'D U DO THAT!!!

I heard something about using user32.dll for that, but couldn't find documentation for it...

Im working on game engine which incorporates my own written dll that gives you ability to do almost everything this "Security Demo" do. If you will ask me nicely I can release it freely to the DBP dev scene when I finish it.

If you know any C++ this is very simple to do, most of this can be done in one function call, or not much more than that, I once did something like this when I first started programming it allowed you to remotely shutdown computers and stuff, if you get the dc of the taskbar you can modify its shape and behavour, however I very much doubt this can be done with dbp even with blueGUI!!!!

Anything that can be done with C can be inserted into a DLL.

This is pretty cool, but:

*There are alot of spelling errors.
*the disable maximize and minimize don't work (You can still max and min with the buttons on the titlebar.
*What's the password? Why does it just become impossible to select when you click on password dialog?? Edit:Because its a demo?

Pretty neat. Here is a suggestion:

Make a button that uses the enable/disable options, hides the program, hides the desktop, shows an image that covers the whole screen that the user can choose, and has an enter password button.

I program in C++, and I can tell you right now that you will not get a simple method to [code how to] print things, let alone in one command.
