Hammer,

Do you make games and use FPSC or any other then?

You should post more often - I like your posts

I have to agree with Hammer, this place seems much tidier lately. Useless threads are locked, and flame wars are quickly extinguished, as they should be.

It lets the relevent threads have more visibility, rather than get lost in a sea of crap.

Great job!

It's brought me back here on a more regular basis. I honestly couldn't stand comeing here before, but now that the Mod Squad is keeping things in check, it is a much nicer place.

JEEZ!You people just STFU! You waste more space complaining about people wasting space than the people your bashing! Man, I thought I had no life.

Yes uman i do make games as a hobby.
Using FPSC now, have used a couple other engines in the past.
Bought the EA version when it was released and have enjoyed
playing around with it since.
Knowing it has limitations, But it works for what i am doing.
Every engine at this price level has its limitations.
But i have enjoyed the process.
Have been around awhile and maybe i should be a little more
vocal on these forums.

Thanks again

Ditto. The new mods have been doing a lot to keep this place clean. One thing I noticed in particular was the editing-out-of swear words, which I personally think is great.

I agree with hammer,

Uman@ Maybe some of the stuff I wrote in my post called "the grammar of the forum" was wrong, but I really think that some of it was very true and relevant for this forum, but I understand why it was locked.

Am I the only one that finds it sickening that a thread which asks a legitimate question about the exponential increase of locked threads does itself get locked? Yet a thread stroking the egos of those doing all the locking remains unlocked?

Sadly, it's a tale as old as the first Wildcat BBS. Power corrupts...even virtual power.

Don't get me wrong, newbie mods...being a forum moderator is no easy chore. But, consider this: you have an opportunity to make your "world" a better place or a worse place. Don't give into the beckoning call of the cyber-siren known as ego. Relax. Let people discuss. After all, it is a "discussion forum", isn't it?

@ SkyCubes,

Are you serious? That has to be one of the funniest things I've ever read. (LOL) So saying thanks to those trying to bring this forum back from the train wreck it was, is "stroking the egos".

On this we agree, just look at the hits you yourself dumped on them.

LOL, Ok...

True, but this "discussion forum" has rules. Like it or not!

Rich picked the Mods based on their action on this forum, everyone of them has proved (IMO) that they could moderate fairly and evenly. I'm sure that this forum will grow into what it should have been months and months ago, Thanks to the new Mods.

Thanks for the laugh

Bigger Thanks to the Mods for doing what needed to be done and for doing it well!

Ohh FFS skycubes, all the mods get this newbie-mod crap - if you can't deal with new moderation here without bitching then stroll on, because really we can do without the Mr.Garrison act, we've all read it before.

The new mods will moderate the forum so it conforms with the AUP, it's what they are expected to do, and what they expect to do - how simple do you want it?. What did you expect the new mods to do?, plant flowers maybe, perhaps even add a nice water feature beside the bug reports.
