When a executable is created in db does it require db in order to run it.

No. Quite simply.


There are two kinds of executable exported from dbc.

A standard exe requires all the media to be included with it while a final exe only needs the exe. A final exe will be considerably larger because it contains all of the media. Neither however require any Darkbasic software to run.

no, db classic exe's don't require DB to run it, only DirectX 7 or above

DB PRO exe's require DirectX 8.1 or above
