OK Me and RPGamer as you might know were having much trouble with collision last night. (we got it sorted).

The strange thing was when he sent his source code and a model to me. He had scaled it by 5000 in all dimensions(at runtime) and when i ran the same code the object did not appear. Note that i was compiling this code in Pro which was written in classic. When i ran it in classic all went well.

Thnx in Advance guys.

dont scale anything guys, it hampers your sanity in collision

re : it wont work except for the original size
so you would have to scale your collision sizes also to suit.

best to find the scale of 1 db cube at size 1 then u will be down to the correct size if u want to switch to BSP driven maps.

BSPs are really small from what i have found.

matrices and things still work at this scale so u save yourself a headache later.

its also easier to work at this level in your minds eye.

345345,345345,345345 is harder than 3,3,3

I dont like the idea of scaling models either Indi. It was RPGamer. They were his models and i have never used Milkshape but is there someway to scale the objects in that before they are exported?.
