For some unknown reason i cannot get any bump mapping to work, on anything, a bit frustrating, any help people?

i think you need to give a bit more details. where doesn't it work? in DB or in your 3d modelling tool (if so wich one?)

aarch 3dsmax kills me!

If he posted it here it's either in his modeler or it's the wrong forum...

Personally I think it's in DB for it's so simple to make it in a modeler...I heard of bugs with bump maps...

Have you got the latest patch installed?

I have got the latest patch installed.
Take for example a simple cube object and trying to apply a bump map loading a pre made bumb map, which i know works fine, i have tested it in 3ds max.

The object just goes blue!

are you sure ur gfx card handles 3d bump mapping?

dbpro has a sample supplied with the effect working
try that... if it doesn't show then i'd suggest you download the lastest drivers and/or patch for dbpro
