What exactly is the definition of a platformer here? Could I for instance enter a piece without levels, but is a pVp.
Basically, I know what games are platformers (Lode Runner, Mario etc) but what games aren't?

Hang on, compo started on the 8th of july with three months to go, yet seven days later on the 15th of july you announce that there is only three weeks left (Though later extened)! That was the fastest nine weeks of my life. Also "We need more entries". As far as I can see there isn't any entries yet. Am I being thick?

Got a little question. Does a game where you are in a maze and need to get out of it is considered to be like a platformer? Because I just realized that the math required to do a jumping function is a little too high.

lol i was actually planning to enter this one. Where did franklin go? And if he wants to ditch the compo i'll restart it with a proper defination and rules.

Prizes are still up as far as i know freddix is still willing to donate the copys of his map editor I'll say the compo has been restarted and due 2nd December when i go to see dragonforce live
