FPSC Classic Product Chat / StartBar is still on when playing?

I dont know if this is a bug or not but the StartBar is still on when I am playing the game. The StartBar is also in the screen when playing a .exe game! Does anyone know how to remove it? The picture also moves a few pixels to the left when playing...

check your setup. if it moves to the left(from its original position) when playing then you have something in there telling it to do that. Try looking for the name of that particular .tga and see if it is labeled twice. Hope that helped.

Im afraid not. A strange thing is that also My DBP games has the same problem(?) and the startbar started to show up after I did some changes with My graphics card. I did that becouse I thought that the FPSC picture was to blurry. It did get better, but now I have that bloody StartBar in the bottom of the screen instead! Well, thanks anyway...

Have you tried to restore your video card settings? I have that startbar problem sometimes too but it doesn't appear everytime.

Ofcourse I did. Do I need to say it didnt work? If You have the same problem then We know that this must be a bug. I will put it up on the bug board later... You better confirm it also...

Screwing with your system settings to make a bug is not a bug. You just screwed something up. Now, I assume this is what is happening. Fullscreen has been disabled with FPSC and now it appears in a window thus showing the start bar. Because FPSC runs in 1024 x 768 parts are cut off.

of course you could have a sticky windows key. In that case promptly rip out your windows key and throw it away. (who uses that key anyway?)

Well, not exactly. Most people dosnt seems to care if they got small bugs & problems, I do...

Dont talk about Screwing Merranvo... There are many kids here! Well the probs has only affected DBP and FPSC no other games or programs, and when I did reset the settings it didnt get any better... So if this isnt a bug I dont know what to call it??? Anyway I call it a bug couse I did a small graphic setting to get a sharper picture, Nigezu and many others have made this settings many times without problems, but when something happens it only happens to FPSC and DBP..
How come its so sensitive compare to other programs and games?

As was said before, most games autodo their settings. FPSC does not.

Try Drew Camerons Dumbow and Cool game, if you don't get it something is seriously screwed up. It should be in DBP which uses the fullscreen command thingy... you know. All I can say is that it sounds like it isn't going fullscreen, thus showing the startmenu bar.

It Does work Merranvo!!! Here is what I did... (Test Script...)

Maximize Window
Print "Merranvo"
Wait Key

Whola!! It did take two seconds, but the StartBar was removed!
Ehh.. Now I just have to transfer it to FPSC in big scale!
(Why didnt I think about that easy command???)

Okay... this is interesting. What did you do? You said you were only messing with display drivers which inturn would make the changes responsible... but a simple DBP demo didn't turn it up. Mr. Love, what did you do...

I used 4x anisotropic filtering & edge smoother 2x... Thats all. When I am playing now the screen moves a little bit to the left. (So far that I can see the windows background?) So it isnt just the StartBar that is up when it shourld stay down... Couse the screen moves to the left quite a bit, the problem must be quite difficult to solve... I made an own fps engine for a while ago, I will try to use it at My own FPS Game made in DBP... Modern softwares shourld be able to handle graphic card changes, thats why this is a bug and Lee shourld take a look at it.... The card changes made the picture sharper, so at least that worked!
