Codechrome is a simple program to keep track of snippets, view, and select text, and copy text to the clipboard for use in another program.

Select the filter. Browse for the folder. A list is displayed in the combo box. Click a file name and the text opens in the edit box. You can scroll it. Hilight a text selection and press ctrl(c) to copy to the clipboard.

-100kb- Source included. Unziip wherever. If you want to comment or make a suggestion, please do.


Edit --- added a color selector, minimize to the system try, right click icon for DBP help links, DBP and D3D commands in the toolbox.

I forgot to mention - if you want to change the font, open an .rtf file. The font in the edit box will change to the font in the .rtf.

Thanks Chris. I hope you find it useful.

I upgraded it with a copy button (you don't need it, but it's nice), save button and single line edit box. To save selected text as a file in the open file folder enter the name of the file (with ending) and press the button. I think that's got it. Comments? Suggestions?
