Dark GDK / MSVC++ 8 a no go?

So am I to understand that you cannot link against the SDK with version 8 of MSVC++?

I am not talking about .net and higher-level languages such as C#, I'm just talking about utilizing the library in your standard way from C++ with version 8 of microsoft's C++ compiler.

Currently, VS8 is not uspported. Hopefully the update will sort that, if/when it comes along.
