Hi friends, I thought I'd introduce my lastest game in hope of it beeing fun and/or usefull.

MOBILE HURLING

Mobile Hurling, Unique, Innovative and Fun sport now in computer game. Learn to throw, buy phones, sell phones, earn money, gain respect, complete events, become the champion. 36 missions in 5 levels with several phones. 5000 lines completely Open Source without any restrictions and easy to modify media for customising.
For you TGC'res: I thought this would be a simple concept that would produce a lot of easy to use source code that could be used in many type of games and therefore be usefull and fun to you

Some features
I hope you could find use for these in your game:

Main menu:
*Shop that handles displaying, buyings and money.
*Respect that reads respect graphs from file.
*Garage that displays, sells and selects phones.
*Settings that use GUI to store config to a file.
*Credits with this sliding style
Challenges:
*Pyramid shaped challenge list that can unlock new events
*Displays and stores gold, silver and pronze medals
*Show descriptions from events
Engine:
*Newton physics with materials, friction, etc.
*Advanced terrain textured and loaded from heightmap
*Grass, tree, sign functions to use
*Throwing, Ai, calculation etc. logics
Other:
*Open Source (Public) 5000 lines, no restrictions
*Free media doesn't require creditting

Screenshots
50% jpg images, if they're not showing, my bandwidth is up

Main menu with styliced buttons and background video

You can buy, sell, select and brose mobiles

Main menu with medals and unlockable events

Vincent (wasn't it?) soon to hurling a mobile

Mobile went off to the forest, grass, trees and TGC add

Some field with grain, skybox taken from my backyard

If you need more, I will happily get some for you

Source code
5000 lines DBP 6.2 source using newton 1.32b. Very well commented (english!), uses a lot of easy to understand functions.
I made this public instead of GPL as I wanted also to help those who dont want help others by putting their game open source, or just need some function for their hard worked closed game. Only thing I ask is to credit me and keep it open ONLY if you redistribute it as original, otherwise; feel free to do whatever you want
If you need help at compiling or using it in your game, just email or msn me etachyon{-at-}gmail.com

Free media
One of my goals in this game was to make everything by myself. I think I succeeded quite well, only characters (thanks darkMatter and my sister) and music (freeplay) were not mine, everything else I made all by myself. You can use all other media as you want, no credit or anything required

DOWNLOAD
Download is 7Zip self-extracting (SFX) 16.0Mb archive, just click exe to extract.

Looks very good, excellent idea, I just don't have time to download that right now

There are three types of people, those that can count and those that can't.

Nope, Im on Gainward Nvidia GeForce 6600GT, really weird, could you please take a screenshot so I could try to figure it out.

You use lastest driver do you? I had some problems with other programs using the old ones.

OK: Im stunned, what about selecting settings in main menu then changing terrain detail from normal to low, allthought Im quite sure it can't be polygon count. After that, only thing I can come up with are old drivers.

The game works fine with all my friends - OK, I admit, there's not many, anyway.

It should work with very low end (radeon 9200, 1.6Ghz) PC
It should work with old windows and stuff (my school)

Just to clarify "must haves":
-Windows that Microsoft supports - over 98
-Recomeded configuration for games - new drivers
-Absolutely newest DirectX required - DBP

I think advanced terrain might be causing trouble for some people, but I live in faith that that's out of my control.

I sorry too for anyone having trouble I cant help :'-(
