I'm having the same problem. Installed, registered, de-installed, re-installed, registered, etc etc... But I still get "DBProExtends.dll=NOT VALID".

Can't seem to get a straight answer from looking at the other posts on this issue.

IS it a path problem? If so, what should it be?
Do you REALLY have to just keep registering 20-50 times until it magically works?

As this seems to be a problem for a significant number of users, can anyone post a sticky definitive guide as to how to fix it?

Don't make me call customer support! ;-D

are you sure you installed latest ( 6.2 ) DarkBASIC Professional upgrades ?
It's an activation problem.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Hi Freddix,

Yup it is [was!] an activation problem! Thanks for the pointer.

After installing the 1.062 upgrade, I thought DBP would need re-activating from the original CD - which I now know it doesn't!

This was regressing DBP back to version 1.06 (and maybe messing with other activations?)

Re-running DBProUpgrade62.exe and choosing "Repair" got me back to the latest version. Then I installed eXtends (from clean). I didn't attempt to re-activate DBP at any stage.

And, hey! All is as it should be.

Thanks in advance for what looks to be a very useful set of tools. I'm off to have a play with them now!
